Live Blogging: End of the 3rd Quarter EagleBank Bowl

Well, well, well we're getting ourselves a football game here. The score is 14-13 Wake. I'm still not going to pretend that it's been pretty, but it's looking better. Navy really hasn't been passing much (if at all) since the interception. Why do something you don't need to and isn't really your game especially when you're not capable of it? Graham Harrell my eye. Wake had another great scoring drive, which was capped off by another Josh Adams rushing TD and some good rush plays, but with some key passing plays. Go figure. At the end of the quarter Riley Skinner is 7-7 for passing. Those 7 passes have only netted 97 yards, so the average is pretty low, but my goodness, he's hitting everything. Let the boy throw! This conservative coaching by Jim Grobe really seems like it might come back to haunt him, but we'll see. The Wake defence has looked decent most of the day and has rallied even more after the impressive showing by Wake. I don't quite understand the final series run by Wake at the end of the quarter, the play calling was nothing but rushing and didn't seem to work out terribly well. But I guess we'll see how they do. Should be a good 4th quarter.
